Giclée (“zhee-clay”) is the art form of creating fine art prints using a computer and an inkjet printer. The artwork may originate as photographs or may be created using graphic design computer software. We prefer to start with photographs and then process them using a wide variety of techniques so that the end result may range from a slightly enhanced photographic image to an art piece that resembles an oil painting (which is known as “media conversion”). By using photographs as the underlying image, we can use our clients’ own photos if they wish to have us produce artwork for them.
Prints may be produced on either very high quality archival paper stock, or on canvas. Our prints are guaranteed to last for at least 25 years before any signs of fading occur if displayed in proper conditions.
