As a growing Fintech business, we’re in an exciting phase of our Company’s lifecycle. Lead by professionals with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, we’re now looking for a strategic hire of a Head of Finance to manage the day-to-day financial actions of the Company.

 

Reporting to the Finance Director and supporting the growth and development of a Finance and Administration Officer, you will be:
 

• Manage all day-to-day accounting operations

• Oversee and sign off the daily client bank reconciliations

• Prepare and publish timely monthly management accounts

• Manage the annual budget process and monitor against actuals

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

• Manage and co-ordinate the annual audit with the external auditors

• Ensure the company always complies with the FCA capital adequacy requirements

• Ensure all FCA, HMRC and Company House filing deadlines are met.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Ad hoc duties as required

As our new Head of Finance, you should have:
 

• Bachelor's degree

• Valid UK working permit and ability to commute to London

• 5+ years of relevant work experience

• Strong communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and an in-depth detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills, where you have succeeded as working part of a team and supported others in their growth

• Previous exposure to fintech/payments company is advantageous
