Partnerships Manager
 

As a growing Fintech business that’s built on the principles of continuous improvement, service excellence and innovation, we are always looking for ways to elevate our business.

 

To strengthen our relationship with key external partners and act as a bridge between them and key stakeholders, we are looking for a Partnerships Manager to join our team!

 

What will you be doing?

 

As a new position for the institution, you will be managing relationships with stakeholders and ensuring their structured growth and development in line with Group’s strategic direction.

 

Working closely with the executive team, you will be:
 

  • Managing and developing long term partnerships through continuous communication and proper account management;

  • Perform regular review meetings with partners to identify opportunity and manage risks emanating from such relationships;

  • Respond to any requested or necessary changes to an external partner or associated contract / service;

  • Troubleshooting / problem solving to assist partners accordingly;

  • Drive continuous improvement and value add initiatives across the Group;

  • Responsibility for assessing and implementing change, strategic directions;

  • Ensure process documentation is complete and robust;

  • Work alongside Senior Management to ensure accurate reporting and process improvement where necessary;

  • Act as an escalation point to communicate pertinent issues, and ensure SLAs are adequately adhered to;

  • Support management with identifying any areas of improvement or possible new avenues for partner relationship development;

  • Contribute to the vendor selection process through clear understanding of the business requirements and assessment of suppliers’ solutions alignment with project objectives;

  • Lead and / or support the institution’s onboarding process, as required by the various providers;

  • Ad-hoc tasks required through involvement in commercial activities / campaigns.

 

Who are you?

 

To fit within our start-up and evolving culture, you should be an individual that flourishes within a fast-paced, changing environment.

 

As our Partnerships Manager, you should have:
 

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a financial institution or similar regulated operation;

  • Proven track record of building loyalty and strong relationships with suppliers and external partners in a client-facing role;

  • Strong account management experience, with a natural aptitude for continuous improvement;

  • Business acumen and the ability to identify and develop new opportunities;

  • Experience within a technology-driven environment would be preferred;

  • Experience within cards and in particular in communications with Card Networks (Visa/Mastercard)
